In May 2015, Melissa spent three weeks in Buenos Aires, Argentina as part of a unique Centenary immersive course exploring the intersections of biology and religion. Gymnastics
Ashley is a decorated and dedicated student-athlete. In 2016, she became only the fourth gymnast in Centenary history to qualify for the NCAA Regional Competition and was also named a USAG All-American Scholar. Learn more about Ashley

In just three years, Cheredith has interned with two Shreveport mayors, a United States Senator, and a political action committee in Washington, D.C. She graduated in May 2017 with an impressive resume and a wealth of experience for the next steps on her journey. Learn more
In June 2016, Cheredith was nominated as a "change maker" and invited to attend The United State of Women Summit at the White House. She had the opportunity to hear from President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, and many other political leaders.

Community Service
Cheredith shares her time and talents with the community she loves, on campus and beyond. She's active in her sorority, helping raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and is currently the youngest member of the Shreveport Mayor's Women's Commission. See how Cheredith gets involved
Cheredith was named the "Model Initiate" of her Chi Omega pledge class in 2013.
Cheredith joined other Centenary students on a spring break mission trip to Nassau, Bahamas in 2014. She worked to build and repair homes in economically depressed areas.

Psychology
Kalie will graduate soon with a degree in psychology, a minor in sociology, and plenty of real-world experience from internships and her job as a behavior technician at a local behavioral health practice. Donovan will graduate in May 2017 with degrees in history and political science. Next stop: law school. Over the past five years, 79% of Centenary students who apply to law school have been accepted. Learn about the pre-law program
Centenary students put their learning into action. Donovan took two political science courses that culminated in a Moot Court. He spent a semester researching and writing legal briefs on a Supreme Court case before holding oral arguments before a judge in a Shreveport courthouse.
Leadership
Donovan is currently president of his fraternity and has held numerous other leadership roles within the Greek system. He is also a Maroon Jacket, served three years as an SGA senator, and helped recruit prospective students for two years as a Student Ambassador. Learn how to get involved
