Centenary provides students with the opportunity to engage in the world around them. By being immersed and studying in various cultures and histories students can see the world not available to them. International travel and study helps students to gain skills and experiences you cannot achieve inside the classroom. Intercultural engagement connects local students to the world and helps connect our international students to Centenary.

The Purpose of Intercultural Engagement:

  • To advise students on overseas opportunities for Study Abroad
  • To serve as a resource to all international students
  • To lead the process in coordinating all international exchange students from other countries matriculating at Centenary College
  • To monitor support opportunities for International Activities

History '15

“I’ve always dreamed of going to Greece. Seeing the Parthenon by participating in the Greece module gave me this experience that I wouldn’t trade for anything in the world. I learned so much about Greek culture, not just the ancient culture, but modern Greece, and everything in between.”
