Centenary announces summer 2016 course schedule

SHREVEPORT, LA — Centenary will offer a diverse array of courses during two summer sessions in June and July 2016. The Summer I session runs from June 1 through 24, and Summer II courses meet from June 28 through July 22. Students are encouraged to register early, but registration will be accepted up to the first day of each session.

Tuition for summer school courses is $400 per credit hour. Courses are open to current and incoming Centenary students as well as students from area high schools and those attending other colleges who are home for the summer.

Summer I course information:

FREN 101 (CRN 404) & 102 (CRN 405) Elementary French I & II
FREN 101 and 102 must be taken together (8 credit hours)

ENGL 341W African-American Literature, Art, and Music: From Harlem
Renaissance to Hip-Hop (4 credit hours)

Summer II course information:

FREN 201 (CRN 406) & 202 (CRN 407) Intermediate French I & II
FREN 201 and 202 must be taken together (6 credit hours)

ENGL 100 (CRN 409) Critical Reading and Writing (4 credit hours)

MATH 107 (CRN 410) Pre-calculus (4 credit hours)

CHEM 105 (CRN 411) Chemistry and Society (3 credit hours)
