Centenary hosts 2016 Caddo Parish College Fair in Gold Dome
SHREVEPORT, LA — Centenary College expects around 1,200 Caddo Parish high school students to attend the 2016 Caddo Parish College Fair on Wednesday, October 12 at the College’s Gold Dome on Kings Highway.
“Centenary is excited to host the 2016 Caddo Parish College Fair and to expose our students to many different colleges both in and out of state,” says Lauren Carlton, associate director of admission at Centenary. “This year we are coordinating this fair with several other college fairs in the area and hope to get a great turnout from college recruiters as well as representatives from organizations like Sallie Mae and the U.S. Marines.”
Centenary expects more than 40 colleges and organizations to send representatives to the fair. Students from all Caddo Parish public high schools will be bused in from their schools during the day, and all area students have the opportunity to return to the fair in the evening with their families.
The 2016 Caddo Parish College Fair will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and again from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the evening on October 12. For more information, contact Lauren Carlton at lcarlton@centenary.edu.
