Centenary prepares for Admission Open House July 21

SHREVEPORT, LA — Prospective students will have a chance to tour Centenary next weekend during the summer Open House hosted by the College’s Office of Admission. The Open House program will run from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 21.

“The opportunity to interact with our admission staff and professors is the best way to kick start your college search!” says Max Beilke, assistant director of admission at Centenary. “Prospective students and families can learn about our personalized classes, scholarship opportunities, and extensive international study programs.”

Students and families will start the morning with breakfast and an interactive tour of Centenary's beautiful 65-acre campus in Shreveport’s Highland neighborhood followed by informative sessions covering admission and financial aid. The day will conclude with lunch and an Academic Browse where visitors can ask Centenary professors and students questions about their specific areas of interest.

“I love Open Houses because students have the chance to meet incredible people from the Centenary Community!” says Kiley Simpson ‘20, a French and philosophy double major and Shreveport native. “Every Open House I am a part of makes me fall more in love with this College and the opportunities it provides.”

Students interested in attending the Open House can register online at centenary.edu/openhouse. For more information, contact the Office of Admission at 800.234.4448 or 318.869.5131.
