Centenary to welcome prospective students to Open House on October 15

SHREVEPORT, LA — Centenary College of Louisiana hosts its Fall Open House on Saturday, October 15 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The program is designed to introduce prospective students and families to Centenary's distinctive academic programs and showcase the College's beautiful 65-acre campus in Shreveport's Highland neighborhood.

"We're excited to welcome prospective students and families to campus for our fall open house," says Lauren Carlton, associate director of admission at Centenary. "Our open house is a perfect opportunity for seniors to visit campus and qualify for our campus visit scholarship while learning about all that Centenary has to offer."

The Open House begins with breakfast and an information session covering admission and financial aid. Following a campus tour led by Student Ambassadors, Open House visitors will enjoy lunch and learn about academic programs and student life from a panel of faculty members and students. The program concludes with an academic browse where students can ask questions and learn more about their specific areas of interest.

"Open House is my favorite admission event because I get to meet such a variety of students," says Brittany Wagner, head Student Ambassador. "Sharing my love of Centenary and showing the students the potential they have here is my favorite part of Open House."
