You could win up to $3,000!

Your new business idea could earn you $3,000 in this year’s CentTank business pitch competition hosted by the Frost School of Business and Centenary College. This competition is open to teams led by current Centenary students (up to five per team) and pitches from most industries are eligible for participation.

Creating a new business pitch is a pivotal stage of a new business’ development. The process of crafting a pitch helps to set up a new business idea for funding and long-term success. The CentTank pitch competition is a prime opportunity to take a new business idea from concept to storefront and win prizes up to $3,000.

A series of education programs prior to the judging of pitches will help participants grow their skils and network with the Shreveport business community. Participating teams can also partner with mentors from Centenary College and the Shreveport business community.

Due date for intent to participate is Friday, February 8, 2019.  Final business pitch submission by Thursday, March 14, 2019.

Eligibility:

  • Business ideas in most industries may participate
  • Open to undergraduate Centenary students who are currently enrolled
  • Individuals and teams of up to five members are eligible
