Cara Lamb is a graduate of the Centenary College of Louisiana class of 2013. She earned her Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from the Hurley School of Music, where she studied with Dr. Gay Grosz. She was the recipient of the Mary C. White full music scholarship, as well as the 2010 Outstanding Freshman and 2012 Outstanding Junior scholarship awards. Cara was chosen as a winner of the Hurley School of Music Concerto-Aria competition in 2009 with her performance of Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 24. She later won the 2012 Monroe Symphony League Marjorie Stricklin Emerging Artists competition with her performance of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2. Cara was the 2012-2013 Centenary College Choir accompanist, and toured with them in Italy in May 2013. In addition to teaching and accompanying at Centenary, Cara is a pianist at First United Methodist Church of Shreveport and Broadmoor Baptist Church.
