Reporting an Emergency
To report an emergency, CALL The Department of Public Safety: Dial 5000.

State: “This is an emergency.”

Give the officer:

• the nature of the emergency
• your name
• phone number from which you are calling
• your location

DO NOT HANG UP until you are directed to do so, unless there is an immediate threat to your safety.
