Details for #6 Gents baseball at NCAA Regionals in Tyler, Texas
SHREVEPORT – The #6 Centenary Gents baseball team (34-8), the third seed, begins postseason action against the fourth-seeded and #24 Linfield Wildcats (30-13) in the West Regional in Tyler, Texas, Thursday night, May 18. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for students. Kids three and under are free.

While live stats and video will be provided by the host Patriots, Centenary will be offering live audio for free via College TV Ticket. Director of Athletics and Recreation Dr. Bob Bunnell, who provided play by play this season for the Gents web broadcast at Shehee Stadium, will be on the call. Color commentary will be offered by Ladies softball coach Mark Suire.
With a six-team bracket, scenarios may be tricky as four or five teams may be still playing after the second day of play (Friday) and two or three after the third day of play (Saturday). Should Centenary beat Linfield Thursday night, they will play the winner of second-seeded Cal Lutheran (31-10) and fifth-seeded Concordia (Texas) (28-16) at 7 p.m. Friday. If the Gents lose, the will play the winner of #1 seed UT Tyler (39-7) and #6 seed Rhodes (25-19) at 3 p.m. Friday.
