Ben Green recently represented the Meadows Museum of Art at the Southeastern Museums Conference, where he and Cadie Hancock '15 presented their social media inspired exhibition plans for our Permanent Collection, entitled "#exhibit."

 

 

2015

Cadie Hancock recently represented the Meadows Museum of Art at the Southeastern Museums Conference, where she and Ben Green '16 presented their social media inspired exhibition plans for our Permanent Collection, entitled "#exhibit."

 

 

2014

Amber Spicer earned her Master's in Museum Studies from the University of San Francisco.

Olivia Koncar moved from her college internship at the Meadows Museum of Art to a career in exhibitions at Shreveport's artspace.

Sabrina Roquemore is interning at the Bossier Arts Council.

Lea Hair was selected by the Smithsonian for the competitive Museum Conservation Institute summer internship.

2013

Courtney Cleveland (Art History & Psych majors) was accepted into all 5 of the graduate programs to which she applied. She is now working in Spain for the Spanish Ministry of Education as a language & culture assistant.

2012

Jessica Hunter completed her MA in the History of Photography at the University of Arizona and is currently working in New York City.

2011

Kristin DiGioia earned her MA in Art History from TCU, and teaches in Baton Rouge.

Donna Nelson is completing her elementary teaching certification.

2010

Jude Simon completed his MA in art history at LSU-Baton Rouge.

Leslie Schepp selected LSU's Master's program in art history, after being accepted to her 3 top choices. Read about her time teaching in Lille, France on her blog.

Allison Austin completed her MA in art history from CUNY-Brooklyn College, interned at the Rubin Museum in NYC, & now works at the Louisiana Children's Museum in New Orleans.

2009

Kate Buchanan received her Master's in Fine & Decorative Art at Sotheby's Institute of Art and now works for Christie's auction house in London.

Patty McAllister also earned her MA in Fine Art from Northwestern State.

Lily Thompson earned her Master's in Fine Art from Northwestern State University and is teaching art at Bossier Parish Community College.

Murphy Crain has been awarded a graduate research internship at The Renaissance Society of the University of Chicago, and her research on László Moholy-Nagy has been honored by the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

2008

Dan Kersting plunged into the NYC film scene after graduation & now creates & decorates sets for well-known movies.

2006

Sara Hebert earned an MA from U of Denver, worked as Senior Interactive Strategist at Williams Creative Group, & is now Marketing Director at Moonbot Studios

2003

Eric Francis teaches courses for LSUS Continuing Education and creates popular videos on how to paint, enjoyed by over 750,000 viewers.
