Alumna Elaine McArdle ’79 and Centenary Neuroscience Program Director Dr. Jarret Richardson discuss mental health and how it relates to the book Elaine co-authored entitled The Neuroscientist Who Lost Her Mind : My Tale of Madness and Recovery in this special convocation sponsored by the Centenary Convocations Committee.

The event is underwritten by the Attaway Professorships in Civic Culture Program.

Five diverse alumni panelists discuss how their Centenary education and experiences contribute to how they live a meaningful life. Panelists include Elaine McArdle '79, Rev. Dawson Taylor '01, Dr. Antonio Pizarro '93, Liddell Smith '71, and Jordan Ring '13. The panel will be moderated by Provost and Dean of the College Dr. Jenifer Ward.

Centenary’s President Dr. Christopher Holoman will preach and the Centenary College Choir will serve as guest choir under the direction of Dr. David Hobson at both the 8:30am and 11:00am services. A reception will take place between services at 9:30am in the church Parlor.
