The Louisiana State Exhibit Museum shall be a pre-historical, historical, cultural, scientific, and technological educational institution whose primary purpose shall be to research, collect, preserve, and present, as an educational resource, documents, artifacts, objects of art, and the like that reflect the social history, cultural history, natural history, and culture of Louisianan emphasizing the northwest region of Louisiana.
Centenary students can serve with this community partner in the following ways:
- Research artifacts under supervision of the Curator
- Help design exhibits
- Serve as docents/tour guides
- Assist with hosting event
- Data entry projects regarding loans and exhibits
- Provide hands-on assistance with day to day operations
